Boost Productivity with Excel – Sponsored by Jeffrey Gregory

TheGAAP.net Presents: Boost Productivity with Excel

Sponsored by: Jeffrey Gregory Of Desjardins Financial Security Investments Inc.

Join us for an engaging two-hour webinar on Tuesday, August 27, 2024, from 7:00-9:00 p.m. EST where we will provide Excel shortcuts and Productivity Tools.

Session Highlights:

Microsoft Excel is one of the most widely used applications, in general, and relative to other Microsoft Office applications (Word, PowerPoint, etc.). Not all its criticisms are necessarily valid. As with anything, it is important to be aware of a given “tool’s” purpose and abilities. However, Business owners and accounting/finance professionals may not have adequate awareness of Excel’s functionalities, especially those that were introduced in the last few years. That can impact productivity, at individual, team, and organization levels.

Do you happen to face any or all of the following, and would like to know how you can better use Excel?

  1. Formulas not readily understandable in plain language
  2. Need to remember and manually update formulas, or pivot tables, for changes in source data range
  3. Time consuming / error prone process to scrub, clean, transform data
  4. Time consuming recurring processes (E.g.: reconciliation)
  5. How to lookup data more flexibly and efficiently than traditional “vlookup”
  6. How to handle large data without facing Excel’s maximum rows constraint
  7. How to dynamically filter, sort, remove duplicate values

Speaker:

Srikanth (Sri) Amudhan is a seasoned and designated finance leader and project management professional with over 20 years of progressive and diverse experience, primarily in financial services.
